It’s so great to be back outside practicing on the grass! It was great to see you all last night and we’re looking forward to Saturday’s session (and have your players dress for the weather!). A few other notes:

• Please mark your players attendance for the currently scheduled sessions, ASAP. If you are going to mark week-to-week, please mark for the following week by Friday.
• We have been in touch with EMDSL about the game field assignments since many are still TBD. There was a delay in getting the field assignments from the city, but once the site is populated, we’ll fill out the rest of the schedule with field locations.
• No jewellery! Please have your players remove all jewellery prior to practices and games. This is for your player’s safety and the safety of all players on the field. A referee may not let a player on the field of play if they have any jewellery on.
• Oakridge Soccer is hosting a picture day at Hazelden on Saturday, June 15. We have requested the 9-9:15 timeslot for our team. We’ll send a reminder about this closer to the date.

Rosters are below. Please keep in mind that this is just a starting point, as we may eventually make some roster moves.

You will see both Red & White team games in your calendar, but your player only needs to go to their game unless otherwise notified by the coaches. Some games still have a field location as TBD so we will notify once locations are set. The game and practice schedule has been added to the calendar up until the end of May.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at practice this Wednesday! First game for Red is Sunday, May 12 in Sarnia @ 12:30. First game for White is Monday, May 13 @6:30pm, location TBD (in London).

Hello parents,

A few points to share as we wind down the pre-season and get closer a more regular practice and game flow.

• The Oakridge Grassroots Showcase has been cancelled this Saturday and the TeamsPages calendar has been updated. We will instead be* practicing from 12:30-2pm*.
• Our kits are in! Please arrive to this Saturday’s practice at 12:15 and look for Coach Chris’s red mini van. We will be handing out the new uniforms in the parking lot prior to practice.
• We plan to share the Red & White team lists ahead of the first scheduled game. The season will commence on Sunday, May 12.
• We will let everyone know as soon as the outdoor fields are ready for practices, and we will update the TeamsPages calendar accordingly.
• Now that the season is underway, we expect the commitment level to rise accordingly. We realize that many of our players have other activities on the go, but the expectation remains that the girls show up on time and ready to go.
